Madison Salazar of Vista Grande High School was recognized Tuesday, February 1, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s VGHS Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month at the district’s Governing Board meeting. Madison was nominated by her Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher, Mrs. Cassandra Yeo, who had this to say about her, “Miss Madison is an integral part of our program. She takes every opportunity to work in the preschool during her class and at other times. Madison is willing to do any job in the preschool and completes it with joy. The preschoolers look for her when she is not there and have fun with her when she is there. Madison can be seen riding a tricycle with one student and playing dolls with another. She has become the “go-to” when talking about FCCLA and our program needs a spokesperson. Madison is willing to step forward. She is a great representation of our program and I look forward to seeing her blossom in the year ahead. Way to go, Madison, and Spartan Sparkies. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in 15 different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District.
