DO-CTESOMVG202109WellsMariana (3)

Marina Wells of Vista Grande High School was recognized Tuesday, September 7, as one of the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month at the district’s regular monthly Governing Board meeting. Marina was nominated by her Technical Theatre teacher Ms. Sara Ragain at Vista Grande High School who had this to say about her, “Marina is currently an intern for Tech Theatre. She always volunteers to help and is always willing to do anything that is asked of her. She is a master at our lighting system. Marina can program a light show within half the amount of time it would take me! Marina teaches me things every day. She always has a bright and sunny attitude and keeps me laughing. I am lucky to have Marina in my program.” Marina’s parents are Bobby and Brandy Wells of Arizona City. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in 15 different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a CTE program nominates a deserving student for this honor. For more information on the CTE programs, visit www.cguhsd.org/CTE.aspx.
