The Arizona Baseball Coaches Association (AZBCA) resumed its postseason all-star games at Goodyear BallPark. Last year's games were not played due to the wipeout effect of COVID-19. Graduated seniors representing more than 100 high schools from across the state were selected to play. The weekend began with the Academic All-Stars South on May 29: Zach O'Dell (CGU-IF) and Riley Miller (CGU-OF). Following the Academic All-Stars games was the 4A All-Stars South: Erubio Ozuna (VG-OF) and Anthony Bolanos (VG-P). On May 30, the 5A All-Stars South took place: Aaron Blunt (CGUSS), Jalen Melecio (CGU-OF), and Jordan Ragsdale (CGU-P). For more information, visit www.azbca.org.
