Students driving to school and utilizing the student parking lot must have a parking sticker.  Fines of $25.00 will be assessed beginning today.

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

Seniors: We have two opportunities for you to attend a Discover GCU Trip. This is a chance to experience staying on campus at GCU before starting your freshmen year. If you are interested in attending one of these trips, please see Mr. Brown in the counseling center for a permission packet

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Come One, Come All! CGHS Theatre Department is having auditions this Friday the 20th and Monday the 23rd at 3:30 in the Auditorium. The show that is chosen for November will be decided upon after we see who is interested in participating...... so hope to see you all there. 

KEY CLUB 
Applications are still being accepted in room E103. Come on over during your lunch or between classes for your application and a personal invitation to help out during this Saturday’s community event. 

There will be a key club meeting afterschool this Thursday, September 19th at 3:20 in the Olaski 

FRESHMAN STUDENT COUNCIL MEETINGS every Tuesday morning at 7:45am in A195.  All are welcome. Please join us to plan and implement our Homecoming float and to help with future fundraising events.   

Please join and support our Student Council who are hosting Soak a Staff Member Event on Friday, September 20th during A and B lunch. A bucket of water is $3 and a bucket of ice water is $5. Cash only! Have a chance to pour a bucket of water on a staff member and help the Student Council raise money!   

The Sophomore Student Council will meet on Tuesday, September 24th @ 7:30 in room F209. All Sophomores are welcome to attend! 

Young Life Club meets every Monday at 3:20 in room D101 
Young Life is a new club exploring what it means to be a Christian. There are awesome games, snacks and fun along with a message from the Bible. Late bus is available at 4:30. See Mr. Peake in room D101 with questions. 

ATHLETICS 

Track Athletes, 
Preseason track practices will be after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.   See Mr. Kieser if more information is needed.  

Boys Basketball: This week's schedule. Wednesday Sept 18th from 6-8pm in the Main Gym here at Union. Please see our social media sites for any updates and changes to the schedule. If you have any questions, please see Coach Howell in room B104.  

Pay to Participate Fees – ALL Fall athletes go to the bookstore to pay your pay to participate fee. Fees are \$60.00 this year.  

Game Tickets - Adults $6.00 Students $4.00 - Tickets may be purchased at the gates for cash or at https://gofan.co  there is a $1 service fee when purchasing through go fan.  

ATHLETIC PASSES – Athletic passes may be purchased in the bookstore.  
Student passes $25 (pass will be printed on your ID)  
Family Pass $65 (pass allows up to 5 people in) 

Athletes – If you are a 2023/2024 Winter or Spring Athlete or a CURRENT 2024 Fall Athlete, please come see Mrs. Wagner at your lunch to have your ID stamped for free entrance into athletic events – ID's will NOT be stamped at the gate so do this early. ID MUST be present at the game with stamp to be allowed into the game for free NO ID means you must pay the $4.00 entrance fee NO EXCEPTIONS!!! 

CLEAR BAGS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED  

NO FOOD OR DRINKS INCLUDING REUSABLE CUPS AND WATER BOTTLES ARE NOT ALLOWED – LEAVE THEM IN THE CAR!

THERE WILL BE NO RE ENTRY FOR ANY REASON – MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED!

IF USING A FAMILY PASS YOUR ENTIRE PARTY MUST ENTER AT THE SAME TIME!
