Parking, Drop-Off, & Testing

Good morning, COUGARS!ay.
Students who wish to drive to school must have a parking permit placed on the lower driver's side windshield. Students that do not have a parking sticker will receive consequences up to and including your vehicle being towed at student’s expense.
Friendly reminder for student drivers to be respectful and to park in your designated space only.
Students drop off is only allowed from the Trekell Road entrance. Please remind your parents that drop off is not allowed through the Student Parking or Staff entrances off McCartney Road.

SPIRIT WEEK
Spirit Week is August 26th - August 30:
27th - Twin Tuesday - Match with one person or group of friends
Wednesday 28th - Wear all your cougar gear/blue and gold
Thursday 29th - Jersey Day wear your favorite team’s jersey
Friday 30th - Wear all neon Construction colors for the pep assembly and football game
PEP ASSEMBLY
On Friday we will be having our first Pep Assembly in the big gym. 9th & 11th grade will be during Cougar Time. Please, report to your class for attendance and then head to the gym. 10th & 12th grade will be going during 3rd hour. Please, report to your class for attendance and then head to the gym. Let’s rock your neon construction colors and show some school spirit!!!
COUNSELING DEPARTMENT
Seniors: We have two opportunities for you to attend a Discover GCU Trip. This is a chance to experience staying on campus at GCU before starting your freshmen year. The first trip is October 19th-20th. The second trip is November 9th-10th. If you are interested in attending one of these trips, please see Mr. Brown in the counseling center for a permission packet. If you have questions, see Ms. McCallin in the counseling office.
CLUBS & ACTIVITIES
Art Club- Art club will have a general meeting on Monday August 26 until 4:30 pm. We will discuss upcoming opportunities and plan our next project.
KEY CLUB: This is the year to join the most engaging club on campus. Applications are being accepted for ALL grade levels. Anyone interested come to E103 to get your application by this FRIDAY! If you are willing to help make your community/school/job or scholarship application better....join this club. Every day is a great day to discover the KEY to your greatness!!
ATHLETICS
Pay to Participate Fees – ALL Fall athletes please be sure to go to the Bookstore and pay your pay to participate fee. Fees are $60.00 this year.
Girls Golf: Please congratulate Lyla Shaw on her second-place finish and Hayden Daelick on her third-place finish in yesterday's golf match against Combs and Poston Butte.
Boys Golf: The boys golf team has their first home match of the season this afternoon against Brophy, Corona Del Sol, and Vista Grande. This match will be played at Dave White Golf Course at 3:00pm. There is no entry fee for golf matches, so come out and support your Cougar golfers.
