(VGHS) Key Club is currently featured on the Key Club International homepage for winning 1st Place in the Gold Division for the Signature Project Award at this past International Convention. The contest recognizes outstanding service projects or fundraisers conducted by Key Clubs. To qualify, a project must have been held annually for three to five years. Winners exemplify the dedication and impact that Key Clubs are known for in their communities.

VGHS Key Club blood drives have made a remarkable impact in Casa Grande, Arizona, particularly benefiting adults and senior citizens. The club averages 96 donations every year, potentially saving 288 lives. In addition, they have gained 27 new members through the event. The project engages students, providing them with roles in organizing, promoting, and managing the blood drives. This collective effort not only addresses a critical need but also instills a sense of community service and responsibility among the Key Club members.
