GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

PNC UPDATE: If you are a student with a PNC, please see Mr. Howell in room B 104 for a Credit Appeal Form. The appeal deadline has changed to April 21st. MUST HAVE AN APPEAL FORM SUBMITTED to be REVIEWED FOR CREDIT APPROVAL or DENIAL!

EVENTS

PROM tickets are on sale now in the bookstore before school and at lunch. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. Tickets are limited. Tickets will be sold to Juniors and Seniors only. Tickets will be $75 each. One ticket per student. Prom will be this Saturday April 12th  at Robson Ranch. Any questions please see Mrs. Maestas in H109.

Do you like free food? When you donate at the upcoming blood drive you will get a FREE CANES gift card AND a FREE ticket to Phoenix Fusion! You ask what is Phoenix Fusion? Phoenix Fan Fusion is an annual multi-genre pop culture convention celebrating fandoms like comics, anime, movies, TV shows, gaming, and more. It features celebrity guests, panels, cosplay, gaming tournaments, an exhibitor hall, and countless fan experiences. Come to E103 to sign up today to donate! Remember, if you are a senior you will also earn a RED CORD for your graduation.

COUNSELING

ALL STUDENTS in 10 and 11th grade, PLEASE LISTEN CLOSELY! 

Arizona State University is hosting the biggest and best FREE National Summer Engineering/Transportation Camp for 1 week on ASU’s campus in Tempe. This free camp includes lots of field trips to engineering sites to learn about how engineering careers impact the transportation industry around the world. You will learn to build and program a self-driving car while experiencing ASU campus life with students your age. The camp dates are from June 15th through June 20th. The application deadline is April 21st. Remember, ALL OF YOUR EXPENSES WILL BE PAID! You may even take friends from the same grade levels to enjoy this experience with you! Pick up the information in the counseling department or see Mrs. Crank-Townsend asap. These spots will fill up fast! 

Seniors- If you have not completed your FAFSA, please do so ASAP. Remember, FAFSA can be used for colleges, universities, trade schools, etc. It is required to use the Pinal Promise at CAC. 

CAPS AND GOWNS PICK UP WILL MOVED TO A LATER DAY! SORRY! 

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

NHS: Pay your dues and get your shirt. Seniors need to pay to get their stole for graduation.  
NHS Field trip permission slips are ready for pick up in D102-we will be back around in time for games/practices-come see me if you are an athlete and have questions.  Permission slips are due Thursday April 10th 
Make Up Clean Up is Friday April 18th 8:00 am at school 
Volunteer hours are due Fri April 25th in D102 
NHS Applications are due to D102 by Wed April 30th-make sure I get your essay and letters of recommendation too. 

KEY CLUB – HAPPY APRIL! All members come and sign up outside E103 for the events happening each week before the spots fill up! 
BLOOD DRIVE volunteers can pick up their permission slips outside E103 TODAY... 
Memorial Garden planning session is this FRIDAY at 7:30 at the front of the school.  See you there. 
Do you know someone who is a survivor or currently struggling with cancer?  Vitalant and Union would like to honor them at our upcoming Blood Drive. Come to E103 to pick up what is needed to have them featured on our HONOR WALL. 

Join us at Young Life Club Mondays at 3:20 in room D101. Discover your purpose in life.  

FRESHMAN STUDENT COUNCIL MEETINGS on some Tuesday mornings at 7:45 in A195. All are welcome. Please join us to plan and to help with future fundraising events.
