COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

Seniors: We have two opportunities for you to attend a Discover GCU Trip. This overnight, all-expense paid trip to Grand Canyon University’s campus will let you experience life as a Lope firsthand.  GCU will arrange your transportation, meals, and sleeping accommodations during your visit. There are only 90 spaces available so get your application from the counseling office today! 

HOMECOMING

Homecoming Dance is almost here! Get your tickets now! Tickets on sale NOW! for $20, tickets are sold through GOFAN. If you need help, please go to the bookstore or see Mrs. DeCarlo in the front office B105. 

Float building will begins today from 4:00-7:30 under the home bleachers.  Everyone is welcome to participate to help to make your Cougar Crazy class float! 

VOLUNTEER

Volunteer Opportunity: come out to the CGUH Swim Meet today at 3:45 to help time the meet and cheer on your Cougars! 

NHS: Volunteer Opportunities 
1. This Saturday 9/28/24-help clean the football stands Saturday morning at 10:00 am-sign up in D102 
2. Mandatory Clean Up Saturday Oct 5 at 8:00 am-must attend this one or the Clean Up in April 
3. Last call for dog items for the Dog Drive is tomorrow Friday 9/27/24- bring to D102 
4. Sign up in D102 to work Octoberfest on Saturday 10/19/24 from 1-4 to help set up. 

Do you need volunteer hours? The band is looking for volunteers to help at the Casa Grande Marching Invitational this Saturday 9/28. The times are 1:30pm-9:30pm. Please visit Mr. Hebda in the band room if you are interested in volunteering.

Key Club
There is NO meeting this Thursday 9/26. It has been rescheduled to October 3rd. SEE YOU THERE! 

Join us at Young Life Club on Mondays at 3:20 in room D101. You are meant for this. There are games, snacks, and meeting new friends. 

FRESHMAN STUDENT COUNCIL MEETINGS every Tuesday morning at 7:45am in A195. All are welcome. Please join us to plan and implement our Homecoming float and to help with future fundraising events.   

The Sophomore Student Council will meet on Tuesday, September 30th @ 7:45 in room F209.  All Sophomores are welcome to attend!

ATHLETICS

The Casa Grande Girls Freshman/Sophomore Tennis team lost their first match of the season against Higley High School on 9/24. The score was 3-6. The only wins posted were by Delilah Coralejo and Emily Castanon in both singles and doubles. Way to go girls.  
 
Girls Golf (9-24-2024) Congratulations to Lyla Shaw on her first-place finish in yesterday's golf match against Vista Grande and Poston Butte.  Other top finishers in the match were Hayden Daelick in 2nd place and Sarah Olsen with a 4th place finish.  The Casa Grande Girls Golf team also took home the win in the team competition.  What a way to end your golf season! 

Pay to Participate Fees – ALL Fall athletes go to the bookstore to pay your pay to participate fee. Fees are \$60.00 this year.  

Game Tickets - Adults $6.00 Students $4.00 - Tickets may be purchased at the gates for cash or at https://gofan.co  there is a $1 service fee when purchasing through go fan.  

ATHLETIC PASSES – Athletic passes may be purchased in the bookstore.  
Student passes $25 (pass will be printed on your ID)  
Family Pass $65 (pass allows up to 5 people in) 

Athletes – If you are a 2023/2024 Winter or Spring Athlete or a CURRENT 2024 Fall Athlete, please come see Mrs. Wagner at your lunch to have your ID stamped for free entrance into athletic events – ID's will NOT be stamped at the gate so do this early. ID MUST be present at the game with stamp to be allowed into the game for free NO ID means you must pay the $4.00 entrance fee NO EXCEPTIONS!

CLEAR BAGS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED  

NO FOOD OR DRINKS INCLUDING REUSABLE CUPS AND WATER BOTTLES ARE NOT ALLOWED – LEAVE THEM IN THE CAR!

THERE WILL BE NO RE ENTRY FOR ANY REASON – MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED!

IF USING A FAMILY PASS YOUR ENTIRE PARTY MUST ENTER AT THE SAME TIME!
