The CGUHS Robotics Team continues with their competition robot design and build. The team is continuing their planning process while designing their robot with computer-aided design tools learned in their STEM Engineering coursework. With advice from Sharron Bottock, the QA Director at Abbott Casa Grande, the team will be implementing a strict quality control plan. The team is assembling a practice robot with which to begin testing their code. The robot will be operated in autonomous robot control and be driver controlled in a teleoperated mode. The combination of teleoperated code and the practice robot will allow drivers to begin practice with the robot much sooner than waiting for the competition robot to be completed. The Robotics Team is coached by CTE and Mathematics Teacher John Morris.
