During the weekend of November 9, CGUHS’s Mandarin teacher Xiaolan Luo, Spanish teacher Russell Tennyson, and students in Chinese I & II classes went to the University of Arizona (UArizona) in Tucson, AZ, to participate in the Chinese Culture Festival. The students performed well. Their dance “Little Apple” received a prize cup, and the display the students created was praised by many people. The students enjoyed a lot of Chinese culture including Chinese Chess, Weiqi, Kongfu, Ping-Pong, and Chinese instruments, as well as delicious Chinese food.
