CGUHS Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (CGUHS-SEDS) Biotech students Ben McFann, Julia Leija, and Cam Parker are being coached in SolidWorks CAD (Computer Aided Design) by Engineering students Travis Daniel and Gehrig Dixon. The student activity organization is using this opportunity to CAD their rocket launch control system as part of their project documentation. These skills will be used later to simulate air flow and to determine the center of pressure and center of gravity for their rocket. The goal this year is to design, build, launch, and recover a high power rocket that will exceed 10,000 feet in altitude. CGUHS-SEDS is sponsored by Mr. John Morris.
