The Advanced Placement (AP) course in Psychology gives high-ability students the opportunity to earn college credit in Psychology while still in high school. This class is designed to increase the students’ understanding of psychology, theory, and research. The units of study will include; methods and reasoning, developmental psychology, perception and sensation, learning and intelligence, motivation and emotion, personality disorders, and social psychology. Students have the opportunity to take the AP test in the spring to earn college credit. This class earns weighted credit.
