Fundamentals of Fabrication

Course Description

Students enrolled in this course will receive instruction  in basic fabrication skills in order to safely and  accurately create prototypes. Concepts and skills will  focus on shop safety, safe tool use, measurement, field sketching, basic tool use, material removal and joining  techniques, and additive fabrication processes. This  course also provides an overview of modern  manufacturing processes. This course will include a  student capstone project.
