(VGHS) At the Key Club District Leadership Conference (DCON), students did really well and had a lot of success stories.
Angel Rios Velazques (SO) was elected to the Southwest District Board as District Bulletin Editor. This is the third highest position for a student leadership position within our district. Angel will be responsible for maintaining communications across all Key Clubs in the Southwest District (Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso, TX). He will also run the district website and social media pages while also creating and distributing "The Key to the Southwest", the official publication of the Southwest District (SWD) Key Club.
Students earn service hour awards for completing 100 or 150+ hours of community service between March 2023 and March 2024:

Students submitted several formal considerations for service project awards. They won 2nd Place for the Signature Project Award for our blood drives. Students also earned 2nd Place in the Gold Division (61+ members) for the Annual Achievement Report. This report is an overall collection of all our activities, meetings as well as partnerships with other Key Clubs, other clubs (StuCo, BSU, NHS), and our local Kiwanis Club.

Overall, the entire delegation that attended DCON were very well-behaved and excellent representatives of Vista Grande and the City of Casa Grande as a whole:
