(CGUHS) As Mrs. Cedillo’s Biology class began to analyze their background knowledge of photosynthesis, students drew leaves and used spinach leaves to extract the chlorophyll pigment inside of the chloroplast to color the leaves green. It was great visual evidence to support their claim that chloroplast reflects green light. Thus, plants appear green. Visit the Science Department at
