(CGUHS) On Saturday, November 18, the Near Space Research Team’s payload reached an altitude of 103,988 feet (nearly 20 miles). The balloon was launched from Quartzsite and landed south of Wickenburg, Arizona. The students had quite a hike to retrieve their payload. The Cougars are advised by Mr. John Morris.
