(CGUHS) On Monday, November 13, Student Council had the privilege to host a free spaghetti dinner for all local veterans and their families. There were over 100 veterans and their families from our community in attendance. Thank you so much to our veterans for your service to our country and allowing us to honor you with a dinner. Student Council would like to thank Col (Ret) Rob Sprague and the JROTC cadets for presenting the colors to begin the evening, Mr. Brad Kepler and his Choir students for leading the National Anthem, Mr. Benjamin Dague and his Guitar students for providing music during dinner, and Ms. Jaque Arvizu and her Culinary Arts students for preparing the dinner. In addition, thank you to the students at Mesquite Elementary School for their cards and letters to the Veterans. They were very thoughtful and enjoyed by all.
