CTE Student of the Month

(VGHS) Paul Sanchez was named the March Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month. Paul was nominated by his CTE Marketing Teacher Ms. Annie Hunter: "Paul is a bright and conscientious young man. He has shown high academic achievement and citizenship in all areas of school. Paul not only rises to the challenges confronting him, but he does so with enthusiasm, a sense of duty, and an unwillingness to be satisfied with anything less than the best from himself. He shows his leadership skills through his many DECA Marketing offices held, conference attended, competition awards received, and leadership activities. Paul is currently the DECA Marketing President. He has been invaluable to the DECA Marketing organization. Paul leads and motivates others, but with a great sense of caring. It is this combination of balance and boundless effort that makes it easy for me to see nothing but a bright and successful future for this impressive student...and he is the only student that can work the slushie machine. Thank you, Paul, for being a part of the VG Marketing/DECA Marketing program.” Paul’s parents are Mr. Paul Sanchez Sr. & Ms. Guadalupe Diaz of Eloy, Arizona. Over 1,500 students are enrolled in 13 different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a different CTE program nominates a deserving student for this honor. For past recipients, visit https://www.cguhsd.org/CTE.aspx.
