Seniors…   University of Arizona will be here February 6th at 11:20 in the Agora.  
 
Seniors…. Scholarship night will be on February 7th from 3:05-7pm in the Agora.  Come fill out scholarships, get help with personal statements and help with FAFSAs. 
 
8th grade parent night will be on Thursday, Feb. 1st from 5-7pm in the commons/auditorium. If interested in promoting your elective, club, team, etc., please send me an email requesting a table for your group.
 
THE VGXC 9th Annual 5K Run-Walk will be Saturday March 3rd
 
Scholarship and college deadlines are fast approaching… Please remember to request your transcript from the District Transcript Dept.  
 
FINAL NOTICEThe Lounge in the Library afterschool will be having a class every Friday in February to learn how to crochet.   Go to the Lounge after school to sign up. You must sign up by Wednesday the 31st. Classes will start at 4:00 on Friday, February 2nd and run about an hour. 
 
Attention all students. Show Up to Glow Up at MORP on February 9th from 7-10pm. Tickets are only $15 for couples and $10 for singles. Prices will be higher at the door! School ID and ticket will be needed to enter the dance.  
 
Teen Crafters Wanted! Tandy Leather is coming to the Vista Grande Library on February 7th and 14th (2-part class), teaching how to leather stamp. The project will be a leather bracelet.  Class is from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Sign up today by calling 520-421-8652 ext. 5019 or stopping by the Vista Grande Library, Space is limited- so don't wait!!













Sports 
Try outs for baseball/softball are Monday Feb. 5th after school (3:30).  Waivers are needed to try out.  Tennis practice Feb 7 through Feb 28 Mon-Thur, no Fridays.  Track will be announced.
 
Boys Basketball TODAY and Thur @ 515pm, no practice on Fri; Sat practice @ 10am.  All players need to attend.  Senior night is Feb 6.

Students may not wear clothing that causes annoyance, disrupts, agitates, interrupts, or interferes with others who are on the school premises for the lawful purpose of pursuing or providing a public-school education. We believe that Casa Grande Union High School District students should dress modestly and appropriately for school.
