Aidan Pitts from Vista Grande High School was recognized Tuesday, November 3, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month during the district’s regular monthly school board meeting. Aidan was nominated by his Construction teacher Mr. Rich Contreras. Aidan is senior with a 3.392 GPA and a second-year student in the Construction Technology program. Mr. Contreras said he always comes to class with a passion to excel. Aidan’s future goals are to join the Navy and train to be a Nuclear Engineer. Aidan believes that with hard work and a good work ethic, his potential is unlimited in the Navy. Aidan’s parents are Oliver Pitts and Michelle Cooper of Casa Grande. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in the fifteen different Career and Technical Education programs offered in the Casa Grande Union High School District.
