Good Morning, NAEP Day is tomorrow, Thursday, Jan.
31. We remind everyone that some of our 12th-graders will be
participating in the National Assessment of Educational Progress.
Teachers, please be sure to remind those students to report to the library 5
minutes before their assessment is scheduled to begin. For those students
who are participating, please report to your designated location on time.
You are playing an important role in our nation’s ability to measure what
students across the country are learning. What’s more, by taking the
assessment, you are having an impact on the future of education for the
students who follow you. Do your best tomorrow and good luck!
Attention
Blood Drive Donors we have 60 blood drive heroes at this time. Please stop by
the nurses office and pick up a form if you are planning on giving blood. If
you have your form filled out please drop it by as soon as possible to secure a
spot. Remember staff is also welcome to give Blood. Thank you!

Duran, The ASU Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program Coordinator
and Recruiter, will be here next Tuesday, February 5th in the Olaski
during 1st period (8:10 am-9:10 am) to give CGUHS
Students information about the summer program. Students interested
in applying for the program must meet the following requirements:
Be a
full-time student enrolled in college track courses
Completed
their sophomore year and three years of math (Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra
II by the end of the spring 2019 semester
Have an
unweighted Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
Minimum
grades of B in math and Science classes
Seniors who
apply must be attending ASU in Fall of 2019
The
application deadline is Friday February 15, 2019
