Students who are interested in spring sports please remember you must turn in a complete physical, proof of insurance and the consent to treat form to try out.  Tryouts start today.  Tryouts for tennis start Feb 6.

VGXC 5k (3.1mile) Run Walk is Sat. March 2nd.  Registration forms in front office, 400 hall bulletin board or on the VG website.  5k T-Shirt, free food, prizes and a goodie bag.  SIGN -UP.  Volunteers will be needed. (be on track at 6:30am).  See Mrs. Salcido -Grigg for Information.

MORP spirit week, dress code applies.  
Tomorrow: Rock n Roll day.  
Wednesday: 80’s day.  
Thursday: Multiplayer – group costume day.  
Friday- Black and Gold.  
Dance is Friday February 8th in the cafeteria from 7-10.  Tickets are 2 for $15 or $10 each.  They will be $15 each at the door

The Lounge is going to be hosting a team-based co-op eSport Pentathlon on Thursday February 7th from 3:30 to 5:00! Teams of four will be competing in easy to play, difficult to master couch co-op video games.  Each game will be scored in five different categories worth varying amounts of points. Teams don't even need to win the game to be in the running for the grand prize, as long as you play you are going to earn points. The top scoring team will be the holders of The Lounge Championship Belt until our next tournament, each member of the team will receive a congratulatory certificate and a $15 gift card to Harkins!  For more information- inquires in The Lounge.

Attention Seniors: The Vista Grande College Access Scholarship application is now available in the Guidance Department and on blackboard. We are awarding three $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors, who have a 2.0 GPA and will be attending either a University, Community College, or trade/vocational school during the 2019-2020 school year. Application deadline is March 15. 

Gonzalo Rigas on his 4th place fishing at the sectional tournament over the weekend. Rigas qualified for the state tournament and will compete in the 160lb weight class.
