Driver’s
Education class will begin on November 1, 2018. This class will start at 3:15 in room A195. The teacher is Mr. Kieser. Payment for the class is $ 200.00 payable at
the bookstore. To register, pick up a registration
form from your counselor and have Mr. Kepler complete the form when you
pay. Return the form to your counselor
to be placed on the list.
The class
will consist of 30 hours of classroom time, followed by 6 hours of behind the
wheel instruction. The 6 hours will be
scheduled at the convenience of the student and teacher and may extend through
Christmas break. Students must have
their learner’s permit before they start the driving portion of the class.
Congratulations to the Pride of
Casa Grande. Tuesday, they traveled to
Higley High School and competed in the Higley Knight Time Classic. Casa Grande finished in first place and was
awarded the highest score of the night.
Seniors- CAC is hosting an awesome event on
October 30th! The CAC Palooza will be held that day & give you the
opportunity to tour their campus, learn about their programs including STEM,
Professional Programs Pathway and Skilled Trades. Pick up a permission
slip from Mrs. Sanchez in the counseling office. Only 100 can go,
permission slips are due back no later than this Friday!
Students, you have the option to enroll for the
Accuplacer that CAC will be offering here on campus. This is the placement test
required for all students who want to take core classes at CAC. Please come by
Guidance to sign-up. There are only 60 spots available for Juniors and Seniors.
Seniors will get priority.
Class of 2022 is looking for class tee shirt
design ideas. Submit your original design ideas in color on paper for
a class of 2022 tee shirt to Mrs. Brady in H209 before fall break. Be sure to
include your full name on your design. A prize will be awarded to the winning
designer.
Winter sports starts October 29th! Please make sure a physical is turned into
Mrs. Soto before October 29th.
Girls Basketball Mandatory
Meeting: All Levels, tomorrow October
18th from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM in Room J203. This is
a mandatory meeting for all participants at all levels to discuss the tryouts
schedule and rules for the upcoming season. All participant must complete the
appropriate documentation including obtaining a 2018-2019 athletic physical
prior to October 29, 2018 to participate in the basketball activities.
Give
your extra change to make a change in a terminally ill child’s life. Help make
a wish come true! Student Council is raising donations for the Make a Wish
Foundation. We’ve made over $400 in 2 days! (With $250 from the athletics
department) Help us send a giant check to make a wish for a child come true!
Donate at lunch or get your parents to give the extra change in their cars when
you see Stuco members at morning drop off!
