after-school tutoring today, Nov. 20 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Congratulations to the Marching
Band. Saturday they finished their season competing at the Arizona State
Championship at ASU stadium. They compete in the largest division in the
state and finished 4th
in the state placing ahead of
some known powerhouses. This is the highest Casa Grande has ever finished.

Award at last week’s Leadership Training Camp. Travis and Madison
received the award for outstanding leadership and civic awareness.

Chloe Buchanan for being selected as a FIRST Tech Challenge Dean’s List
Semi-Finalist. Chloe Buchanan was selected based on her outstanding
leadership, her technology skills and knowledge, and her entrepreneurial
efforts. Chloe will compete to be selected as a Dean’s List Finalist at
the State Tech Challenge Championship in April.
GOOD LUCK to our Basketball Lady Cougars today, as they
will play in the Queen Creek Tournament!
Casa Grande Union High School
MCJROTC drill team finished second overall in the Huachuca challenge drill meet
this past Saturday. The competition was held at Buena High School. This was the
cadets first drill meet of the season, and they did an awesome job. Our
freshmen played an important part in the success of the team. They won seven
trophies doing this event. Congratulation to CG MCJROTC drill team.
Attention Seniors: GEAR UP Senior shirts have
arrived and we will begin disbursing on Monday, November 27th to
students that have submitted their FAFSA applications. If you plan to go into
the military or into the workforce after graduation, please see Ms. Campos or
Mrs. Merrill for alternative ways to earn your Senior shirt.
