Campus News and Events
Activity busses will arrive at 615 and depart @ 630pm only Monday-Thursday.
All students must wear their ID when they are on campus, no exceptions.
No Gum is allowed on campus.
Students must clean up after themselves and throw their garbage away after lunch or you will be confined within the gates of the cafeteria.
Aug 11 Seniors and Foreign Exchange students you are invited to a Sunrise Breakfast at the Football Stadium from 7-8am.
Vista Grande Library's Makerspace Beginning Photography Class held this Wednesday, August 9th at 3:30 in the library. This is a series of 4 classes, the 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th. Space is limited so stop in the library today to sign up! Please bring your camera or own device. If you do not have one, the library has iPads that you can borrow during the class Don't wait, sign up today!
Back to school Spirit week is August 14th – 18th.
Monday is Fiesta versus Siesta. Dress to impress or just to rest.
Too hot Tuesday- show us your dress code appropriate summer wear .
Work place Wednesday- future or current careers and uniforms .
Third grade Thursday- flash back to when all you had to worry about was what your mom packed you for lunch School spirit Friday- show us your black and gold. Remember dress code applies to all spirit days.
Sports
Student Athletes: Waivers are available in the Athletics office. Students may come by on their lunch or after school, they are not permitted to leave class for athletics. Athletes once you are selected on a team you must have received a clearance card from Athletics to give to your coach to be cleared to participate. If you have not received a clearance card then you are not cleared.
Tryouts for volleyball in the large gym and cheer in the commons @ 330-630pm. Please bring your waivers so you can tryout.
Anyone interested in playing football see Coach Stuart or come to practice afterschool from 330 to 630pm. All football players must be cleared by Aug 14 to participate in our Football Scrimmage game on Aug 17 at home against Dobson @ 6pm. Go Spartans!

Meeting will take place in the wrestling room Thursday, August 10 at 3:30pm. This is for returning wrestlers and new comers.
Mandatory Softball meeting in the Agora on Aug 17 at 330pm.
Open basketball boys this Wednesday August 9 at 630 PM in the main gym. You must have a waiver form to participate. Coach Bias will provide all information regarding the preseason open gym schedule for on Wednesday. All boys interested in playing basketball this year are invited to attend.
