CGUHS SEDS Club students have been busy designing and assembling their custom rocket launch control system and the launch pad they will use to begin their rocketry experiments. Their goal is to design a multi-stage solid fuel rocket that will reach an altitude of 10,000 feet. As a part of this project, the students are working with CG Fire Marshall Michael Wobster to develop launch safety procedures. Also on their agenda is to approach the City of Casa Grande about creating Spaceport Casa Grande, a permanent rocket launch facility. The Cougars are advised by Mr. John Morris.
