Nine (9) CGUHS band members auditioned and were selected for the University of Arizona Regional Honor Band on Saturday, January 25: Amaya Barr, Nicholas Camacho, Jacob Cortez, Jayme Dee, Cameron Garey, Baruch Lim, Luis Miranda, Joel Moore, and Jacob Villarreal. Joseph Cortez was selected as an alternate. The Cougars are directed by Fine Arts Teacher Martin Hebda.
