Ledbetter to Attend BMX Grand Nationals
1

Vista Grande High School has the number one ranked BMX racer in the State of Arizona. Eithan Ledbetter, a Freshman, has been competing in BMX racing for a little over a year and a half. He began riding BMX bikes when he was five years old to keep him out of trouble. He realized he loved the thrill of the race so much that he found his coach, Jaime Laija, to train him to be the best he could be. On Sunday, October 20, he won first place in the Arizona State Championship at the Black Mountain BMX race. He will now move onto the Grand Nationals in November in Oklahoma. He is hoping to have one of the top ten fastest time so he can compete in the Worlds in Europe. Eventually, Eithan wants to reach Elite racer status so he can compete in the Olympics.
