August is Charcoal Month for Mr. Carlos Jimenez's art classes, so the art students are working with charcoal pencils and putting an emphasis on shadows and highlights. Using techniques learned the previous two weeks, Art 1 students drew a rose, and Art 2 students drew a horse. The Art 1 students are really giving Art 2 some competition!
