Seniors who have played softball or baseball while in high school should consider applying for the Tomás Piñon Memorial Scholarship.  Applications are available in guidance.  The deadline is April 15th.  See Mrs. Miraldi with any questions.

Reminder for Juniors and Seniors: If you want to take the SAT on April 24, 2018, you must pay the registration fee in the bookstore. The fee is $ 46.00. There are a limited number of tests available so if you want or need to take the test, get signed up as soon as possible.

 

All Boys Basketball players at CGU who are wanting to play this summer should come to workouts Tuesday April 10 and Thursday April 12 at 3:15 in the main gym. We will also have a 1day tournament coming up April 21 @ Combs High School.

Girls Basketball strengthening & conditioning will be on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s from 3:30-5 pm.

 

Student Council will be hosting a dodgeball tournament on April 13th from 6-8 pm. Sign Ups start tomorrow through April 12th. Fee is $5 per player, $25 overall price for a team. Sign-ups in the Bookstore.

Baseball: Varsity final score against Marcos De Niza, Cougars with a win 1-0. JV final score against Marcos De Niza, Cougars with a loss 4-5. 

 

Softball: Varsity final score against Marcos De Niza, Lady Cougars with a win 19-2. JV final score against Marcos De Niza, Lady Cougars with a win 10-0.

 

Girls Varsity Tennis beat Combs High School on Tuesday with the score of 7-2. Lynette Butron, Iben Ims, Anyssa Duran and Emelie Edman all won their singles matches. Then Summer Shedd/ Iben Ims, Lynette Butron/ Cassity Wellington and Anyssa Duran/Emelie Edman won their doubles.

 

The JV girls Tennis team posted single wins from Kathye Ruiz, Joana Merkle and Sarah Laba. Also, a doubles win from Merkle/Salazar.
