VGHS Mathletes participated in a mathleague.org competition at Pima Community College on Friday, October 25. Arthur Bautista, club president, was one of four seniors who received an honorable mention at the competition award ceremony. This is Arthur’s third year competing in mathleague.org competitions with recognition. Also in attendance were Ricardo Ornelas, Tanay Evans, Anthony Velazquez, Aileen Canedo, and Viktor Wittner. Mathletes are sponsored by Ms. Jeanna Vasquez-Garza.
