The CGUHS school counseling team held an inaugural "Fall FAFSA Kickoff" the week of September 16-19. All seniors learned about financing higher education and logged in and applied for a FSA ID number in preparation for the October 1 FAFSA application opening. Students completing the application are entered into a raffle for prizes including gift cards, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and college swag gift bags. CGUHS Fall FAFSA fun continues on Tuesday, October 22, with the "Fall Into FAFSA" night to be held in the CGUHS Library from 5-7 p.m. All seniors and parents/guardians are invited to come to campus and complete the FAFSA application with the assistance of the school counselors, as well as university and community college financial aid representatives. Dinner & Dessert will be provided by Chick-Fil-A.
