In the summer of 2019, Tripp Breitkreitz attended the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) on Aerospace at American University. The NSLC is an extraordinary leadership program for outstanding high school students. Student scholars are selected to participate from across the United States and from more than 70 different countries based upon academic excellence, extracurricular involvement, and demonstrated leadership ability. Each student is recommended and nominated by their high school. Through participation in this program, students not only develop a better understanding of their leadership skills, but their ability to think on their feet, to engage in critical analysis, and to effectively communicate - skills that will serve them well on their academic journey. Students also develop a sense of independence and responsibility. They leave with a true feeling of accomplishment and confidence in their ability to handle the challenges that lie ahead.
