The VGHS beginning art class, taught by Mr. Carlos Jimenez, was introduced to soft pastels during the week of September 9-13. Those of you who are familiar with pastels know that these are not easy to work with and can be extremely messy! The art students drew flowers only with the pastels, no pencils or any other tools were allowed. The artwork was completed after only one demo and a week of practice.
