Band
Congratulations to the Pride of Casa Grande Marching Band! Saturday at Mesquite High School at a competition with 28 bands they finished in first place. They also received the awards for outstanding General Effect, Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance, and Outstanding Percussion Section. Way to go!
Volleyball
We have 2 volleyball games at home this week. Tomorrow, October 8th we play Canyon Del Oro High School. Freshman game starts @ 4 pm, JV @ 5 pm & Varsity @ 6 pm. Come out and support our Lady Cougars! Wednesday game at home vs. Catalina Foothills. Freshman game starts @ 4 pm, JV @ 5 pm & Varsity @ 6 pm.

Freshman football game Thursday, October 10th @ Salpointe Catholic High School. Players will get released at 2:55 pm.

Our swim team will compete at Marana High School Thursday, October 10th. Release time will be at 1:30 pm. Good luck to our swim team!

Boys Basketball
All CGU boys in grades 9-12 interested in playing basketball for the 19-20 season need to attend an informational meeting at 3:15 PM, Tomorrow in Room D 109.
Freshman Student Council
A Freshman Student council meeting will be held tomorrow morning at 7:20 am in Room H109.

Girls Soccer
This Wednesday there will be a meeting in Mr. Wagner’s room L119, on Thursday October 10th during 2.5 hour to any girls interested in playing soccer this year.

Accuplacer
Attention Juniors and Seniors who have signed up for the Accuplacer- Please check your school emails for study links and steps on completing the process. You cannot take the test if you are not registered as a CAC student. The deadline for the October 10th Accuplacer is THIS Thursday. Please see your Counselor if you have any questions.
