Superintendent's Letter
Dear CGUHSD Parents and Guardians,

The Casa Grande Union High School District is now ready to begin enrolling students for the 2020-21 school year. We are following our Governing Board’s approved plan to reopen our schools that offers both a flexible in-person option and an online option. The school year will begin Monday, August 10, with remote learning for all students. Remote learning will continue until it is safe to transition to a modified in-person learning environment and ultimately a completely in-person learning modality.

In CGUHSD, all students will be automatically enrolled in the Modified In-Person model for instruction unless a parent or guardian chooses the CGUHSD Online model when you register. To help you better understand both models of learning, please refer to www.cguhsd.org/doReopeningPlan.aspx for descriptions of both our Modified In-Person and our CGUHSD Online models. We are currently preparing registration for the 2020-21 school year, which begins next week. In an effort to provide a safe environment that adheres to social distancing guidelines, we are limiting the number of parents and students that need to come into the school buildings. Information about the registration process will be coming out from each school on Monday, July 20.

We appreciate your ongoing support and patience as we address the challenges of these unprecedented times. The teachers and staff of the Casa Grande Union High School District are eager to get back to serving our community and providing the first-class education that has made CGUHSD the schools of choice in our area.

Be Healthy and Stay Safe,
Dr. Steven C. Bebee
Superintendent
