Global “Giving Tuesday” is today! Be sure to purchase your ticket for tonight’s event: Scott Helmer World Record Attempt and So You Think You Can Dance Competition – audience selects the winners. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased from a Skills USA member or Mrs. Harding in room 3044. Proceeds benefit Cactus Middle School Theatre Program – Giving to our future Spartans! Don’t miss out on your chance to experience an amazing evening of talent and prizes.

Attention “So You Think You Can Dance” participants - Reminder: Rehearsal for tonight’s event is today at 3:30 in the auditorium. See Mrs. Harding if you have questions.

Boys basketball V and JV @ Maricopa @ 530 and 7pm, no frosh game and no early release. Girls Basketball Maricopa @ VG @ 530 and 7pm no frosh game. Girls V Soccer game @ 6pm no jv game. Good Luck Spartans!

Freshmen football players PLEASE see Coach Stuart to pick up a form regarding our banquet on 12-5-
16 from 6-8pm. We need a head count for our food.

College and Scholarship Updates

Seniors: Reminder that the ELK’s scholarship is due Wednesday, November 30th.

The College Bound Spartans meeting this week will be Wednesday, November 30th at 3:30 in room 1265. We will be working as story tellers to create personal statements.

SENIORS: CAC will be coming this Friday for another #FAFSAFriday during both lunches. You will be creating your FSA ID. Pizza will be provided or you may bring your lunch.

On Thursday, December 8th from 5:30-7:00 we will be having a Parent FAFSA Night. You will bring your FSA ID you created and complete your FAFSA that night! It will be in room 1104. Remember financial aid is a first come first serve basis.

The Cesar Chavez Memorial Scholarship is open! Come by the counseling office for an application today. Deadline is January 29, 2017.

SENIORS: If you are a DREAMer and wanting to go to college, the guidance department has a huge list of scholarships. DREAMers please see your counselor for more information or pick up a packet.
