STUDENT ATHLETES ON WINTER ROSTERS. Please remember: No clearance card; no participation

Anyone interested in playing baseball: There will be a meeting today in the Agora at 3:15pm.
If you cannot make the meeting, please see Mr. Grigg to get the information.

Club photos will be tomorrow, November 22nd, in the auditorium. “All students who are in clubs need to bring their club t-shirts or planned attire for the picture otherwise you will not be photographed for the yearbook. Pictures will be going on all day, so please speak with your advisors to know when to come and take your picture.”

VG SkillsUSA (the VG Event People) presents “So You Think You Can Dance” dance competition. Last day to sign up is November 22nd. The competition has 3 categories – Individual, Small Group and Large Group and will be held on Tuesday, November 29th. The competition will be opened with a Guinness Book of World Record attempt by Scott Helmer.

Tickets to the “So You Think You Can Dance” competition and Guinness Book of World Record attempt are on sale now. The tickets, which are $10, are now being offered for only $5 until November 28th (They will be sold $10 on the 29th). National publicity will be here at VG. Gifts and prizes will be given out. Don’t miss this chance to attend a public historical event right here at Vista Grande!!!!

College/Scholarship Updates
Seniors: Chicano Por La Causa is awarding about 15 scholarships to outstanding Latino students pursuing a degree at ASU. The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition. It’s renewable up to 4 years. It’s due January 17th.

There is a Los Medicos Scholarship for the University of Arizona College of medicine. This scholarship provides $10,000 for two Hispanic students who are attending U of A’s College of Medicine.

Chicano Por La Causa also has scholarships available for Maricopa Community Colleges and Pima Community Colleges. Please see your counselor about any of the scholarships mentioned above.

Seniors: Reminder that the ELK’s scholarship is due Wednesday, November 30th.
