College next fall, and plan to attend the Vaquero Rally Days sponsored by GEAR
UP, please pick up your permission to travel form from Mrs. Merrill or Ms.
Campos as soon as possible. These forms are due back to our office by March 16th.
Attention students: You
can now sign up for Summer School. There is a fee of $50 and that is
non-refundable. If you need to make up a class, take advantage of this
opportunity. Space is limited. Please see your Counselor for a summer
school form. They will explain the process to you."
Boys basketball workouts after school in the main gym next
week will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We will also go over our off
season/summer schedule.
= Our National Honor Society is holding
a shoe drive for the Valley Humane Society. Give them your gently used shoes.
Any type or size shoes are accepted. Repurpose them to raise money and change
lives in communities around the globe. You can donate your shoes from now until
March 28th. Drop off boxes will be placed in the library, Mrs.
Ramirez’s classroom, and the front office. Posters will be posted around the
school with more information.
Seniors- the deadline for the Rotary Scholarship
is Friday, March 16th. The paper application is available in
guidance. Please see Mrs. Miraldi with any questions.
Seniors, remember the GEAR UP CSA Next Steps
Scholarship is due tonight at midnight. See Mrs. Merrill or Ms. Campos if you

On March 14th
we will be having a small assembly during 2nd hour to show respect
for the Douglas High School in Florida. We ask for you to wear maroon which is their school colors…thank you for
your support.
Students interested in taking the ASVAB this
Spring, please come by the Guidance Department to sign up. The test is
scheduled for March 14th @ 9:00am... this is a late start day. If you have any
questions, please see Mrs. Sanchez in B132.
