Aidan Pitts of Vista Grande High School was recognized Tuesday, January 12, as one of the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) Students of the Month during the district’s regular monthly school board meeting. Aidan was nominated by his Culinary teacher Mrs. Kim Rains at Vista Grande High School who stated “Aidan has been a Culinary student for four years and has become the first ever super-intern in the program. He has grown into a wonderfully responsible young man; anticipating and accommodating the needs of his teacher and other students. He often, enthusiastically, represents the program on recruiting activities and passed the state assessment as a sophomore. He is a great team player, confident program representative, and a quality character.” Aidan’s parents are Michelle Cooper and Oliver Pitts of Eloy. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in the fifteen Career & Technical Education programs offered in the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month a different program may nominate a student for this recognition program. Visit www.cguhsd.org/CTE.aspx.
