“This week’s STEM Hero of the Week is Jeri Ellsworth. Born in 1974, Jeri Ellsworth is an American inventor and entrepreneur who dropped out of both high school and college because her teachers didn’t like her questioning their teaching. She started her own custom computer company and invented a computer chip that can run 30 video games inside a joystick, which changed gaming forever. Jeri Ellsworth currently is working on the “true VR” Kickstarter project. The STEM Hero of the Week is brought to you by the CGUHS STEM Advisory Committee.”
