Students on the CGUHS Robotics Team are designing and building a robot using SolidWorks 3D Modeling Software. Students create their 3D model to ensure fit and function before ever cutting metal. The 3D model is then converted into part drawings that the students fabricate and assemble. The design team is led by CGUHS STEM Engineering Senior John Travis Daniel and Robotics Team coached by CTE and Mathematics Teacher John Morris. The Robotics Team will travel to Flagstaff in March to compete against 50 teams from across the southwest for a spot at the World Championship in Houston in April.
