The VGHS We The People team earned 1st Place at Regionals on Saturday, December 14. The students did an excellent job and represented Vista Grande very well. They will compete against all the other region winners at State on Friday, January 10, at Mesa Community College. Special thanks to Fitzgibbons Law for all their help and support! We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution is a course offered at VGHS which enhances students’ understanding of the American constitutional democracy and prepares students for the academic rigors of higher education and the working world. The Spartans are taught by Social Studies Teacher Jason Scherr.
