Nathan Matthews is a student at Vista Grande High School and is the son of Patrick and Ana Matthews. Nathan is the Spartans Athletic Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) Co-Founder/Co-President and AP Math Club President. He is a member of Key Club, National Honor Society, We the People, Student Council, Cross Country Varsity, Wrestling Varsity, Baseball Varsity, Soccer Varsity, Basketball, and Boy’s State; and is a NFL Fuel Up to Play 60 participant. Other personal activities and accomplishments include spending time with friends and family, cooking (favorite meal to cook is Chicken Stir Fry), going to church, helping others out whether it is tutoring them or just doing community service, and maintaining straight A’s throughout high school with a cumulative weighted GPA of 4.598. His career goals are to continue to work hard in school and receive a full ride scholarship to a university. His life goals are to put a smile on someone’s face every day and, hopefully, have a wonderful family.
