Maria Machelor is a student at Casa Grande Union High School and daughter of Paul and Norma Machelor. Her activities and accomplishments include: Film Club, Drama Club, participated in theater productions for three (3) years, Student Council, Key Club, World Travel Club, Anti-Defamation League, Superintendent’s Advisory Council, Cougar Ambassador as junior and senior, National Honor Society, Academic Achievement Award for three (3) years and AP Scholar for 2019.  Other personal activities and accomplishments include: Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas, altar server for seven (7) years, selected to participate in the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference, delegate to Girls State where she was selected federalist party chairman and part of the Supai County Board of Supervisors. Her academic interests and career goals are International Relations, Humanities, Journalism/Photojournalism, Global Business, and Political Science. She wants to attend NAU (or best offer) and major in International Relations with a minor in Psychology, Law, or Political Science.
