Your Casa Grande Union High School SADD chapter would like to share some information with you regarding teen substance use. Most Casa Grande teens beliefs and attitudes that don’t favor using alcohol or drugs. According to the 2014 Arizona Youth Survey, 78% of our local Casa Grande High school students report that they don’t think it is cool to use drugs or alcohol. Keep making positive life choices students of Casa Grande Union High School!

This past weekend CGUHS JROTC drill team competed in the West Mitchell drill meet located at the Air National Guard unit (Sky Harbor Airport). The kids did an outstanding job battling the rain, wind and cold weather. They won trophies in the following events:
4 person armed exhibition – 1st place commander’s trophy
10 person Armed regulation – 1st place
10 person unarmed exhibition – 1st place
10 person unarmed exhibition – 1st place commander’s trophy
10 person armed regulation – 2nd place commander’s trophy
10 person unarmed regulation – 3rd place

CGUHS GEAR UP is offering ACT Tutoring and test prep for ALL Junior Students. We will be offering tutoring Monday through Thursday from 3:15 pm to 5:15 pm. Mondays will be Math tutoring with Mr. Razo in F109; Tuesdays will be English tutoring with Mr. Machelor in C101; Wednesdays will be Science tutoring with Ms. Sipes-Dunn in L126; and Thursday will be Reading tutoring with Ms. Kastilahn in C204.
