Juniors, please return your ASU Poly Tech permission slip to Ms. Merrill or Ms. Campos today, permission slips will not be accepted tomorrow…remember must be turned in TODAY!!!

 

 

CVHS HOSA is selling breast cancer awareness shirts now through Wednesday, October 5th.   15% of the cost is donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer research.  See a HOSA member to order your shirt today!

 

All juniors and seniors eligible for NHS membership have received an email with a NHS application.  Applications are due Friday, September 30.  Late applications will not be accepted. 

 

 

“Attention Casa Verde High School Seniors.  There will be a meeting for all Casa Verde High School seniors today after school in the Principal’s Conference Room.  We will be discussing our graduation plans and will have important information regarding Jostens.  All Casa Verde High School seniors should meet in the Principal’s Conference Room after school today.”

 

 

 

Juniors and Seniors and their parents – CGUHS will host a Financial Aid Night on October 4, 2016 in the Auditorium.  The event will start at 6:00 pm and end at approximately 7.  Representatives from CAC will present information concerning the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) for students.  Seniors will start the FAFSA process in October this year so this is important for any student who needs money for college or tech school. There will be refreshments.

 

Juniors and Seniors – CAC will offer a class on campus, CPD101.  This class is required for all students who take classes at CAC.  It will meet on Wednesdays after school with the remainder of the class online.  The class is free and earns 1 semester hour of credit (1/6 high school credit).  To take the class, see a guidance counselor for a CAC form.  You will have to take the Compass test at CAC or at the Corporate Center before taking the class.

 

Students, CGUHS will host the 3rd Annual Student Success Night on October 13, 2016.  All students and their parents are invited to this event starting at 6:00 pm and ending at approximately 8.  Colleges, Military, Professions, and Business will be there to discuss future job, career, and/or schooling for students after high school. There will be prizes and refreshments.

 

 

CGUHS Theatre Dept. Presents "Born to be Wild” hilarious pet talk. Be prepared to hear animals and Laugh a lot.

Winter Sports officially begins October 31st.  If you are interested in Boys & Girls Basketball, Wrestling or Boys & Girls Soccer please stop by Mrs. Soto’s office in Building B, Room 121 for a sports physical packet.  Thank you!

 

 

Today, September 28th - Please come support lady cougar soccer at the McDonald’s in Walmart Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.  20% of the sales will go directly to girls’ soccer.

 

October 4th-5th – Girls soccer players will be selling donuts and other great snacks before school on Wednesday through Friday.  Bring your dollar bills!

Volleyball Final Scores against Marcos De Niza…Frosh with a win 2-0, JV loss 0-2 & Varsity loss 0-3.  Tomorrow, September 29th @ Home vs. Higley High School.  Frosh @ 4 pm, JV @ 5 pm & Varsity @ 6 pm!

 

Swim @ home tomorrow, September 29th vs. North High School at 4 pm
