College/Scholarship Updates
Seniors -October 22nd ACT. Late registration will continue through September 30th.
Seniors If you are interested in working for the US Department of Agriculture, whether in management, info technology, or plant or animal science, you will want to apply for their $25,000 scholarship. Review the announcement in the Scholarship Notebook in the College and Career Center and then see your counselor. FINAL NOTICE
Picture Day
Class photos are this week in room 3041.
Seniors in US Government will have their senior photos taken during US Government class on Tuesday. Seniors in Economics will have their senior photos taken during Economics class on Wednesday. Seniors who are not enrolled in US Government or Economics will have their senior photos taken during 6th hour on Tuesday or Wednesday. Senior quotes are due at your photo session. Quotes not submitted will say “Congratulations Class of 2017.” See Mrs. Harding in room 3044 if you have any questions.
Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors will have their photos taken during their English classes on Thursday. You should not wear green. The photographer has mailed all ordering packets to student homes, however they will have extra packets available on picture days. If you do not have an English class, see Mrs. Harding for scheduling.
students who will be taking an AP test in May. If you are on the free or reduced lunch program, your cost per AP test will be $20. If you are NOT on the free or reduced lunch program your cost will be $93 per exam. If you cannot pay the cost of the exam, please see your counselor or tell your AP teacher no later than October 1st. We are working with the service organization SOS and may be able to get help for the costs.
