THE CASA
GRANDE UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT WILL BE HOSTING THE 4TH ANNUAL
GRADUATION POWWOW HERE ON THE UNION CAMPUS THIS COMING SATURDAY, MAY 14.
THE POWWOW IS A FREE AND PUBLIC EVENT THAT DEMONSTRATES NATIVE AMERICAN SINGING
AND DANCING AND DRUMMING WITH PARTICIPANTS PERFORMING IN THEIR NATIVE AMERICAN
REGALIA. THE THEME OF OUR POWWOW IS TO RECOGNIZE ALL CASA GRANDE UNION
HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT GRADUATES, ESPECIALLY OUR NATIVE AMERICAN SENIORS AND
STUDENTS, WHO REPRESENT OVER 20 TRIBES FROM THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES FROM
AS FAR AWAY AS ALASKA, CANADA, MONTANA, AND THE DAKOTAS TO TRIBES IN
OKLAHOMA AND ARKANSAS. THERE WILL ALSO BE NATIVE AMERICAN ARTS AND
CRAFT VENDORS ON SIGHT AND THE AMERIND CLUB WILL BE SELLING FRYBREAD. ALL
STUDENTS AND STAFF ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THIS ALL-DAY EVENT THIS COMING

The last day for after school tutoring in the library is
Monday, May 16.
If you are going to enroll in an AP course for next year,
you must complete the paper work to be enrolled. You must complete and
enrollment agreement and a student/parent/teacher contract for each class.
Deadline for turning in the paper work is May 13th.
Driver’s Education is being offered at Casa Grande Union
High School starting on May 23, 2016. Cost of the class is $ 200. For more
