Hi! My name is Nancy Hayes. I'm an ESS teacher. Previous to teaching, I was an Inspiring Excellence Coach. With the teacher shortage, I was asked to step into a teacher opening.
My education background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. I worked for USAA for 15 years in property and casualty insurance and claims. I left there and owned my own business in Colorado Springs. I moved to Oregon, where my daughter is a teacher. She encouraged me to do something different and be a Substitute Teacher. The greatest need was in Special Education. I was then hired as an Instructional Assistant at the high school.
I decided to move to Arizona to help my Mom. She wanted to move back to Arizona City, so I made that happen. I needed a job. Everything fell into place for the move and the job.
